Outlook im Web: Anmeldung künftig über WueLogin

Am Donnerstag, den 22.8.2024 wird die Anmeldung an Outlook im Web https://mail.uni-wuerzburg.de für alle JMU-Angehörigen auf WueLogin (Shibboleth/SSO) umgestellt.

Ab dann müssen Sie sich über WueLogin mit Ihrer persönlichen JMU-Mailadresse anmelden - analog zu WueCampus, Zoom, WebShop, Microsoft-Portal etc.

Sofern in Ihrer Einrichtung schon die Multi-Faktor-Authentifizierung produktiv ist, ist diese dann auch für die Anmeldung an Outlook im Web erforderlich.

Die Anmeldung an Outlook im Web ist nur noch mit persönlichen JMU-Mailadressen möglich.

Funktionsaccounts

• Mit Funktionsaccounts können Sie sich nicht mehr direkt an Outlook im Web anmelden.
• Stattdessen müssen Sie sich mit Ihrer persönlichen JMU-Mailadresse anmelden und dann über die Funktion "Postfach öffnen" auf das Funktions-Postfach zugreifen. Voraussetzung ist, dass Ihnen über das User-Portal dafür der Vollzugriff gewährt wurde. Eine detaillierte Anleitung zur Konfiguration: Funktions-Postfach-ImBrowser.pdf

Nicht betroffen von der Umstellung ist der Zugriff auf Postfächer

• über den Outlook Client (=installierte App)
• über andere Mailprogramme wie Thunderbird per IMAP
• auf Smartphones oder Tablets über MobileSync.
   

Am Umstellungstag wird Outlook im Web von 8 - 12 Uhr nicht verfügbar sein. Siehe RZ-Statusmelder.

On Thursday, 22 August 2024, the login to Outlook in the web https://mail.uni-wuerzburg.de will be changed to WueLogin (Shibboleth/SSO) for all JMU members.

From then on, you will have to log in via WueLogin with your personal JMU e-mail address - analogous to WueCampus, Zoom, StudiSoft, Microsoft Portal etc.

If multi-factor authentication is already in use at your institution, this will also be required for logging in to Outlook on the web.

Logging in to Outlook on the web is only possible with personal JMU e-mail addresses.

Functional accounts

• You can no longer log in directly to Outlook on the web with functional account.
• Instead, you must log in with your personal JMU mail address and open then the functional mailbox using the "Open mailbox" function. The prerequisite for this is that you have been granted full access via the user portal. Instructions under Funktions-Postfach-ImBrowser.pdf

Access to mailboxes is not affected by the changeover

• via the Outlook client (= installed app)
• via other mail programmes such as Thunderbird via IMAP
• on smartphones or tablets via MobileSync.
